Holliday Pigments has manufacturing roots in Yorkshire, England which go back to the 1800s. High quality ultramarine pigment has been produced since that time at its site in Hull for an evolving range of uses.
The manufacturing facility is now situated in Comines (near Lille) in France. Holliday Pigments is the world’s leading supplier of technical quality ultramarine pigments and employs over 150 people.
In August 2008, Holliday Pigments joined Rockwood Holdings Inc., becoming an important addition to the Color Pigments and Services Division. Rockwood’s Color Pigments & Services Division is one of the largest worldwide suppliers of colored pigments for construction, coatings, plastics and specialty applications. The Division’s manufacturing sites and customer service centers are located in the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Australia and China with additional sales offices located in Singapore. Environmentally, our corporate aims ensure that we use our resources responsibly. For example, we recycle where possible, work with suppliers who share our principles, and pioneer planet-friendly processes whenever we can.
Social sustainability covers a wide range of issues that affect or concern society. As part of our CR approach we consider all our stakeholders, and the wider community, and the impact our operations could have on them. We aim to be in tune with the changing expectations of society and to conduct our business in a way that meets with general approval.
We also aim to be responsible members of our local communities through charitable donations, sponsorship and other initiatives which help to make a positive difference.
