Acid Resisting Ultramarines
Ultramarines With 50% Improved Acid Resistance
Ultramarine pigments are sensitive to decomposition by acids. Recognising this, Holliday Pigments has always offered a range of ultramarines which are coated to resist acid attack. Taking advantage of improved process technology, Holliday Pigments is now able to offer improved grades with 50% more resistance than the previous best-in-class products.

Use of an acid resisting ultramarine significantly improves the weathering fastness of articles coloured with ultramarine pigments. This is because the fading is principally due to decomposition caused by acid rain. Improvements will be even more apparent where articles are exposed to higher levels of pollution.
